Parsippany Crossing Guard, Longtime Resident Dies at 97

Elizabeth Dailey knew a thing or two about Parsippany.

The Lake Hiawatha resident of 50 years died recently at the age of 97.

Dailey was born in Orange and moved to town in 1965.

She worked as a crossing guard for Parsippany for 10 years before retiring in 2003, and worked at Warren Lambert in Morris Plains before that.

She is survived by a son, daughter, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
