Parsippany Elks Bid Farewell to A Fallen Member

Services for Clynt Gastineau are being held tonight.

The Parsippany-Troy Hills Elks Lodge #2078 is mourning the loss of its own. Clynt Gastineau of Lake Hiawatha died May 20 at the Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover after suffering a long illness. He was 55.

Ed Rice, the lodge secretary, remembered Gastineau, who worked for Agilent Technologies, as a member in good standing who helped represent the Parsippany Elks at lodge conventions.

"He hadn't been here in a while because he was sick," Rice said. "When he was here, though, he was popular and well-liked.

"Clynt will be missed by the members of our lodge," he added.

Gastineau is survived by his wife, Dianne Todero Gastineau, his daughter, Cheryl Lyn Gastineau , his mother, Stephanie Kossuth Gastineau, and his sisters, Carol Joyce Gastineau and Denise Karren Gastineau.

Services will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Stephen J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, 60 N. Beverwyck Rd.
