Parsippany Firm Debuts New Healthy Cheese

Finlandia enlists a Top Chef to show off its Lacey Swiss in the big city.

Parsippany-based dairy company Finlandia put its new Lacey Swiss Cheese on display at a hands-on culinary workshop in New York May 21. The workshop, held at the Rustico Cooking School, featured Bravo "Top Chef" alum Ariane Duarte, the owner and executive chef of Montclair's CulinAriane restaurant.

The event marked the debut of Finlandia's Lacey Swiss Cheese, which is marketed as a health-conscious all-natural, lactose-free cheese that has reduced fat and is low in sodium.  Duarte presented Lacey Swiss and other Finlandia cheeses in a number of recipes intended to be healthy but flavorful.
