Parsippany Garbage, Recycling Schedule For Christmas, Holiday Season

PARSIPPANY, NJ — You better watch out. You better not cry. You better not put your garbage out on the wrong day.

Christmas and New Year's are approaching. And while that may mean holiday fun, it's also important to know Parsippany's altered pickup schedule for trash and recycling.

Here's the upcoming schedule:

• Wednesday, Dec. 22: Garbage: 1, 2, 4 | Recycling: 3 | No Cardboard Pickup
• Thursday, Dec. 23: Garbage: 3, 5, 6 | Recycling: 4 & 5 | Recycling Center closed
• Friday, Dec. 24: Recycling Center Closed, No Garbage or Recycling Pickup
• Saturday, Dec. 25: Recycling Center Closed
• Monday, Dec. 27: Garbage Districts 1, 2, 4 | Recycling District 1
• Tuesday, Dec. 28: Garbage Districts 3, 5, 6 | Recycling Districts 2 & 6
• Wednesday, Dec. 29: Garbage Districts 1, 2, 4 | Recycling District 3 | No Cardboard Pickup
• Thursday, Dec. 30: Garbage Districts 3, 5, 6 | Recycling Districts 4 & 5
• Friday, Dec. 31: Recycling Center Closed | No Garbage or Recycling Pickup
• Saturday, Jan. 1: Recycling Center Closed
