Girls Soccer Advances in Tournament

Successful penalty kicks from Tiffany Kelly, Mae Noonan and Elena Wolfe helped the Parsippany girls soccer team to a 3-2 shootout victory over West Essex in the North 2, Group II tournament, according to NJ.com. Melissa Kelly tied the game 1-1 with a goal in the 67th minute, and goalie Lauren Scalfani stopped 14 shots for Parsippany (13-4-3).

Parsippany will face No. 2 seeded Madison on Thursday in the North 2, Group II final.
