Parsippany Gym Teacher Indicted For Hiding Camera In Bathroom

The teacher has been suspended since his arrest last April.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — A Parsippany gym teacher was indicted on charges that he invaded fellow teachers privacy by hiding a camera in a staff bathroom, the Daily Record reported.

Christopher Esnes, 41, from Gillette, was indicted on 19 counts of invasion of privacy. He is accused of setting up a recording device in a faculty bathroom at Littleton School between November 2016 and April 2017.

He was arrested last April after the recording device was found. No footage of children was found, but intimate areas of adults was recorded, as Patch reported.

Following his arrest, Esnes was suspended from the district.

"The teacher has been suspended and banned from Littleton Elementary School as well as all District properties," Joan F. Benos, a public information officer for the Parsippany-Troy Hills School District, told Patch at the time.
