Parsippany Key Club Continues Service Amid Pandemic
Members sent gratitude cards to Morristown Medical Center & St. Claire's Hospital.
PARSIPPANY, NJ - Since the school closure brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, Parsippany High School Key Club has continued serving our school and local communities, according to club advisor Lindsay Hulin.
According to Hulin, members sent cards to Morristown Medical Center & St. Claire's Hospital expressing their gratitude for everything that frontline workers are doing during the pandemic. Some members chose to leave positive notes on neighbors' doorsteps and others connected with relatives living in other states and countries via Facetime.
During Teacher & Nurse Appreciation Week, the club emailed messages of appreciation to the PHS faculty & staff to express the members' gratitude for all of the efforts the teachers and staff are putting into making sure students can still learn at home.
Some Key Clubbers also took the time to record themselves reading children's books and the recordings will be sent with the principals of the elementary schools in our district to share with their students.
