Parsippany Man Drove Wrong Way, Drunk, With Bags Of Cocaine: Police

Officers found him driving east in the westbound lanes on Route 10 in Denville, authorities said.

DENVILLE, NJ — A Parsippany man drove the wrong way down Route 10 while intoxicated, and he had cocaine with him, according to police.

Officers pulled Miguel R. Lopez over when they saw him driving east in the westbound lanes Sunday, according to the Denville Police Department. Police said the investigation revealed that Lopez, 23, was driving under the influence of alcohol. He also had several bags of cocaine on his person, according to authorities.

Lopez was charged with possession of cocaine and driving under the influence. Before authorities released him, Lopez received 12 different vehicle summonses.
