Parsippany Man Who Trafficked Cocaine Gets Prison Time

Authorities found 20 kilograms of cocaine in $322K in cash at his home, according to federal authorities.

NEWARK, NJ — A Parsippany man was sentenced to prison Tuesday for his role in a cocaine-distribution conspiracy. Victor Pimentel is the third person federally convicted of involvement in the conspiracy, which authorities say centered around Passaic County.

Pimentel, 46, was sentenced Tuesday to 5 years, 8 months in prison. He and two accomplices — Narcisco Ramirez, of Passaic, and Kiuny Perez, of Rockaway Township — pleaded guilty in January 2020 to conspiracy to distribute cocaine.

Perez received the same prison sentencing as Pimental on June 2, while Ramirez received 10 years in prison last year. The trio played roles in distributing large quantities of cocaine in and around Passaic County in 2017, according to court documents. Law enforcement searched Pimentel's home and found more than 20 kilograms of cocaine, drug paraphernalia and $322,000 in cash, according to federal authorities.
