Parsippany School Board Candidates: Contested Election Ahead
Five people filed to run for three available seats in Parsippany. Here are the candidates.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — The Parsippany-Troy Hills Board of Education will have a contested election this fall. Five candidates filed to run for three available, three-year seats:
The candidates are:
- Judy Mayer
- Susy Golderer
- Jack S. Raia
- Robert Quinn
- Sheethal M. Abraham
Mayer and Golderer are current members of the school board. The third expiring term belongs to Frank Neglia, who currently serves as board president but is running for Township Council.

The contested school board race adds another wrinkle to Parsippany's eventful election season. Mayor Michael Soriano, a Democrat, is running for re-election against Republican James Barberio, who served two terms as Parsippany's mayor.
Soriano's ticket includes council candidates Cori A. Herbig and Judith Hernandez. Barberio's Republican ticket features council hopefuls Neglia and Justin Musella.
