Parsippany School Calendar: 5 Dates To Know For The 2022-23 Year

There are still several weeks of summer left to enjoy. But here are some key dates for the upcoming school year.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — There are still 53 days of summer break before Parsippany students go back to school — but who's counting? As the school year approaches, however, there are a few dates parents might want to mark on their calendars.

Here are a few dates to know for the 2022-23 year in Parsippany-Troy Hills Township Schools:

Sept. 6: first day of school for students. While teachers will report back Sept. 1 and 2, students will get things started the day after Labor Day.

Sept. 26: schools closed for Rosh Hashanah.

Oct. 5: schools closed for Yom Kippur.

Nov. 10-11: the New Jersey Education Association's convention. Schools will be closed.

Nov. 23: a half day the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
