Parsippany Schools Chief Goes On 30-Day Medical Leave
Superintendent Scott Rixford will be away from the district for the next month.

Parsippany-Troy Hills School District Superintendent Scott Rixford announced Friday afternoon he would be going on a 30-day medical leave, and his duties will be handled by an interim schools chief.
The district released a short statement Friday stating Assistant Superintendent and Chief Academic Officer Nancy Gigante will step in for Rixford during his absence.
The district did not further elaborate on the reason for Rixford’s medical leave.
