Parsippany Schools Lengthen School Day for 2015-16
Nine minutes tacked on to each school day across all buildings in district.

If Parsippany-Troy Hills students were counting the minutes until the final bell of the school day before, they’ll be counting a little longer this upcoming calendar year.
The board of education recently approved an adjustment in the total hours of a school day across all school buildings and grades kindergarten through 12, lengthening the schedule by nine minutes.
The additional time will come at the end of each school day. At Parsippany Hills and Parsippany High Schools, the day will begin at 7:40 a.m. and end at 2:25 p.m. in 2015-2016, as opposed to an end time of 2:16 p.m. in the past.
