Parsippany Seeks Trunks, Table Hosts For Halloween Event
Residents, businesses and local organizations can sign up to hand out candy and other kid-friendly treats during the trunk-or-treat.
PARSIPPANY, NJ — Parsippany is looking for residents, businesses, and community organizations willing to help fill Smith Field with decorated trunks and tables for the township’s annual Halloween celebration.
Mayor Pulkit Desai and the Township of Parsippany are inviting volunteers to register for the 2026 Trunk or Treat, scheduled for Oct. 31, Halloween, from noon to 3 p.m. at Smith Field.
Those taking part can decorate a vehicle trunk or set up a table display and hand out candy or other kid-friendly items to children attending the event.

Township officials said participation from local residents, businesses, and organizations is needed to help make the event a success.

Pets will not be permitted at the event, according to the township. Officials also noted that politicking will not be allowed during the celebration.
The event is being presented by Desai and the township as a community Halloween gathering for local children and families.
