Parsippany Will Be New Home for Mountain Lakes Mail
Seven mailmen will transfer to larger facility in Parsippany, but continue on same Mountain Lakes routes, report says.

As part of a cost-saving maneuver that involves a half dozen post offices in New Jersey, postal carriers from Mountain Lakes will now operate out of Parsippany.
According to dailyrecord.com, seven Mountain Lakes letter-carriers will be transferred and now work out of the Parsippany post office. This won’t impact how Mountain Lakes residents receive their mail, the report said, but should help reduce expenses.
The change will take effect on Jan. 1, 2015.

The other transfers in New Jersey include Spotswood and Helmetta in Middlesex County, and Oradell, Dumont, and River Edge in Bergen County, the report said.
Pickup of mail by Mountain Lakes residents, however, will still be done at their local post office, the report said.
