PHHS Cheerleaders Place Third At State Championships

They competed against 16 teams.

Parsippany Hills High School's varsity cheerleaders really have something to cheer about this week--themselves. 

They placed third in the 19th annual State Cheerleading Championships held at the Sun Center in Trenton on Sunday. They competed against 16 other teams in the small dance category. 

The junior varsity team placed fifth.

“ New Jersey State competition in one of the biggest,” says Parsippany Hills cheerleading coach Michelle Lazina. “The best come to states.”
