Dan Bellafiore’s two-goal effort was out shadowed on Thursday, as the Parsippany ice hockey team fell to Red Bank, 4-3, on the strength of two third period goals from Nick DeSalvo at Mennen Arena in Morristown.
After leaving the first period trailing 1-0, Parsippany stepped on the gas and scored twice in the second period to head into the final frame tied, 2-2.
But DeSalvo’s two goals in the third period were too much for the Red Hawks to overcome -despite a Kyle McDermott goal in the same frame- sending Red Bank to its second win this season.
