Real Housewife's Suit Against Lawyer Can Continue, Morris County Judge Says

Montville's Teresa Giudice can move forward with a lawsuit against her former lawyer, a judge said.

PARSIPPANY, NJ— Real Housewife Teresa Giudice can sue her former lawyer for not keeping her out of jail, a Morris County judge ruled.

Giudice claims her lawyer mishandled her bankruptcy case, forcing her accept a plea deal that landed her in federal prison for 15 months, NorthJersey.com reported.

Judge Louis. S. Sceusi said earlier this month she could continue with the suit against Clifton-based James Kridel. The lawsuit says Kridel's work was "the equivalent of medical malpractice," NorthJersey.com reported.
