Salads, Cookies, Italian Market Coming To Parsippany-Area Plaza
Briarcliff Commons has three new tenants preparing to open for business: Uncle Giuseppe's, Chopt and Clumbl Cookies

MORRIS PLAINS, NJ — Briarcliff Commons is getting something healthy, something sweet and an Italian marketplace for good measure. Three new tenants settled into the Morris Plains shopping plaza as they ready to open.
It wasn't immediately clear when each business would open. But Briarcliff Commons records show occupancy from Uncle Giuseppe's, Chopt Creative Salad Co. and Crumbl Cookies.
Uncle Giuseppe's will open "very soon," bringing a large, Italian marketplace to the plaza. The store will become the second-largest business in the plaza — behind only Kohl's at 37,801 square feet.

The market currently only has one New Jersey location — in Ramsey. The Briarcliff store will feature a full-service deli, specialty butcher, scratch-made bakery and viewing rooms where pasta and mozzarella are made fresh daily. It will also include a full grocery, dairy and frozen-food complement.
Chopt Creative Salad Co. has nearby locations in Florham Park and New Providence. Most of its eateries are in New York, but they can also be found down the East Coast, in Tennessee and in Alabama.

Crumbl Cookies started as a big dream from two "crazy cousins" — CEO Jason McGowan and COO Sawyer Hemsley, who co-founded the company. They gathered feedback and tested recipes until they created "the world's best chocolate chip cookie," according to their website.
The first Crumbl store came to Logan, Utah, in 2017, while Sawyer attended Utah State. Crumbl has six expanded to more than 300 bakers across 36 states.
