Pedestrian Struck, 'Seriously' Injured On Parsippany's Route 46

PARSIPPANY, NJ — A vehicle struck and "seriously" injured a pedestrian Thursday in Parsippany, police said. Route 46 East will remain closed at South Beverwyck Road as officers investigate.

Parsippany police announced the closure at about 3 p.m. Thursday. Expect heavy delays, officials said.

The collision occurred at the intersection in front of Holiday Inn (707 Route 46 E). The roadway will remain closed while officers investigate on-scene, Parsippany Police Sgt. Brian Conover told Patch.
