Small-Format Target Now Open In Parsippany
A grand opening ceremony will be held this weekend, and will feature a small giveaway.

PARSIPPANY — Nine months after it was first announced, the small-format Target in Parsippany has opened for business.
The store is in the Troy Hills shopping center, which also includes a Michales and LA Fitness. It held a soft opening for customers Wednesday morning, officially opening its doors to customers at 7 a.m. A grand opening ceremony will be held on the 8th, with an in-store celebration showing off the new store. The first 1,000 customers at the grand opening will receive a free reusable tote bag.
Located where the Pathmark used to be, the small-format Target is about half the size of a traditional Target. It's the second small-format store in the state (the first was in Closter). Although much smaller than a traditional Target, company officials said the store will still stock everything locals expect.

"With a smaller size, the store offers an assortment that's tailored to meet the needs of local guests. The Parsippany store caters to local families and residents, offering a curated selection of men's, women's, and kids' apparel and accessories, fresh groceries and grab-and-go items, home décor, a health and beauty section, electronics and entertainment, and toys and sporting goods," the company said.
There's also a Starbucks and a CVS Pharmacy inside the store.
