State Baseball Championships Start Friday for Par-Troy East

The first games of the state Little League baseball tournament begin Friday in Pequannock. Parsippany's 11/12 All-Stars, fresh from their , will compete.

The first matchups in the double-elimination competition will include Par-Troy East v. Livingston American and Monroe Township v. Nottingham.

If the PTLLE All-Stars are victorious Friday, they'll play Saturday at noon. Otherwise, they will playat 2:20 p.m.

The championship game will be played Monday or, if necessary, Tuesday.
