'Successful' Community Cleanup, With 30 Large Trash Bags Filled, In Parsippany

More than 60 volunteers came out Saturday to clean up Parsippany.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — Parsippany came out strong for Saturday's community-cleanup event. More than 60 volunteers filled over 30 contractor-sized bags of trash picked up.

Township Council Member Justin Musella, who organized the event, called the cleanup a success.

"I would like to thank all of the volunteers that made our cleanup a success," Musella said. "Restoring the pride in Parsippany starts with ensuring our community is clean and projects an image we can be proud of. We will continue to build on this with future events devoted to serving our town."
