'Suspicious Incident' At Parsippany School Bus Stop Under Investigation: Police

A man stopped by a girl and told her she was 'pretty,' police said. His vehicle has been seen by the stop a few times in the last week.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — Parsippany police are investigating a "suspicious incident" at a school bus stop.

A driver came by a girl who was standing alone at her bus stop in the Intervale area Tuesday morning, according to police. He turned around, stopped near her, called her "pretty" and then left, authorities said.

The girls reported seeing the vehicle — described as a blue sedan — pass her bus stop a few times in the last week, police said. The driver was described as a white man in his 60s with gray hair and a mustache. No one else was in the vehicle, police said.
