'Suspicious Incident' At School Bus Stop Investigated: Parsippany PD

The incident occurred at one of the bus stops in the Tabor Road area, police said.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — Parsippany police are investigating a "suspicious incident" at a school bus stop. A man drove up to a girl waiting at her stop and asked her if she needed a ride, authorities said.

The incident occurred at about 7 a.m. Wednesday at a stop in the Tabor Road area. The man approached the girl in a newer-style, gray minivan — license plate unknown — police said.

Police described him as tan in complexion, possibly in his 20s and wearing a black baseball cap and face mask with stars printed on it. He then drove away as the girl boarded the school bus.
