PARSIPPANY, NJ - It isn't a renovation or a revamp to bring back the Tostado Nachos. The Parsippany TGI Friday's location, 3835 US-46, has closed for good, according to officials.

Prospective patrons found out when they found a typewritten note taped to the door:

"Parsippany TGIFriday will be permanently closed, please visit our other location, Wayne and Roxbury. We would like to thank all our loyal customers that have been with us all these years. Thank you again."

A spokesperson for the company told Patch they apologized for the inconvenience.

"One of the most difficult decisions that we at TGI Fridays ever make is to take actions which may ultimately require a restaurant to close down, whether it is company owned or owned by a franchisee. We take these decisions very seriously and consider all facts, particularly the impact it will have on the team members," Guest Relations said in an email.
