What Should Take Cinépolis's Place? Parsippany Sounds Off
Common answers to Patch's unofficial survey included another movie theater, a Walmart and a bowling alley.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — With the news that Cinépolis Cinemas permanently closed, some people are remembering the good times they had. But Parsippany Patch readers also have an eye toward the future.

"Another movie theater, if it was updated like all the other theatres they would get people to go to that one!" said Christine Whelan Bott.

"Fix up the place and make it a Regal or other cinema," said Michael Matias. "Preferred to go there than to Rockaway. Always less crowded and more enjoyable. Too bad they let that place turn into shambles."
"Parsippany should have a movie theater since Parsippany has had one for as long as most people can remember," said Tom Conklin.
Patch also received many answers suggesting alternative uses for the site.
"A food court with inside and outside dining with live music," said Rochelle Denise Dickerson.
"A sports entertainment arena for the kids!" said Dana Rivenburg Pirnie.
"Basspro," said Adam GB.
What about things you don't want there? That's arguably as important to consider as what you might desire.
"I don’t want apartments, condos," said Stacey Sackerson Richards. "We don’t need more people in town.. sadly, this might be the end for theaters."
