With 10 school building in Parsippany-Troy Hills Township, there’s a lot of education going.
According to a rankings website, one of the elementary schools in the district stands above the rest, and is among the top-100 in the state.
Niche.com compiled a national list of more than 40,000 elementary schools, and named the top 100 in New Jersey. Among them was Northvail Elementary School, slipping in at number 96.

The ranking’s methodology was based on student and parent surveys along with academics, overall district experience, and student culture and diversity.
There were a total of 10 Morris County elementary school ranked in the top-100 on the list, from towns including Parsippany, Randolph, Montville, Mountain Lakes, Chatham, and Madison.
