'Witness to Murder': Morris County Homicide Subject of New TV Show

Story of Kashief Parvaiz, Antoinette Stephen, Nazish Noorani to be documented on ID network.

Four years after Nazish Noorani was murdered on Main Street in Boonton by Antoinette Stephen, the crime will be the focal point of a television show on Investigation Discovery network.

The show, “Witness to Murder,” is part of the series “Deadline: Crime With Tamron Hall, and will air at 10 p.m. Sunday night, August 9.

The case closed completely earlier this year when Stephen was sentenced to 30 years in prison for her role in the murder. Stephen was the girlfriend of Kashif Parvaiz, Noorani’s husband and the father of her children.

It was Pervaiz’s idea to kill Noorani, a jury decided, and he was sentenced to life in prison for his role in the murder.

The television show’s preview says, “The peace in a small town is shattered when a Muslim couple is gunned down on the street. Though badly injured, the husband survives and tells police the gunmen yelled racial slurs before firing. But was hate the only motivation for this heinous crime?”

Interviews with local reporters and prosecutors will make up parts of the episode, which has an air time of 60 minutes.
