Two seats are up for election in November for the Point Pleasant Board of Education.
POINT PLEASANT, NJ — Two seats are up for election for the Point Pleasant Board of Education in 2023, but just one person wants to serve on the board.
Incumbent Cheryl Salway was the only person to file a candidate's petition by Monday's deadline for the November 2023 school board election.
Joan A. Speroni, who served from April 1997 through December 2012 and then was elected to the board again in 2017, is not seeking re-election, and no other candidates filed to run.
