$750 Scholarship offer for an Ocean County woman returning for a degree or certification

The Woman’s Club of Point Pleasant, NJ is offering a $750.00 scholarship to a woman residing in Ocean County, NJ. The applicant should be someone who has completed her high school requirements at least five years ago and has experienced an interruption in the continuation of her education. The applicant must be looking to complete a degree or certification (i.e. Radiology, Cosmetology, Phlebotomy, etc.).

The perspective candidate needs to be enrolled/planning to enroll or registered for the 2019/2020 course of study at an accredited post-secondary institution for undergraduate study or at a school for certification in a specific trade.

As a Woman’s Club, we have offered scholarships to graduating high school students and will continue to do so. However, we also want to identify women who are now seeking a career change or whose plans to further their education were disrupted because of personal circumstances.

We would greatly appreciate your help by making Ocean County female residents aware of this opportunity.

The deadline for submitting applications is April 12, 2019.
