American Historical Theatre To Present 'Bessie Coleman' At Point Borough Library
One-woman show portrays the first African-American woman to become a licensed pilot and the first to hold an international pilot's license.

The American Historical Theatre will present ”Bessie Coleman” at the Point Pleasant Borough Branch of the Ocean County Library at 2 p.m. on Feb. 28.
The one-woman show stars actor/teacher Dr. Daisy Century. Century will portray the first African-American woman to become a licensed airplane pilot and the first American to hold an international pilot’s license.
The library branch is located at 834 Beaver Dam Road. Registration for the show is required.
