Bicycle Kick Goal Puts Jersey Shore Soccer Player At No. 1 On ESPN SportsCenter

That's what happened to Brody Powers, who not only made the Top 10 plays on SportsCenter but was the No. 1 play on the Sept. 17 highlights.

Powers scored on a bicycle kick in the Garnet Gulls' victory over New Egypt on Sept. 16, one of two goals the senior scored in the game, according to the boxscore on NJ.com. Powers also had three assists in the 9-2 victory.

Jersey Sports Zone shared the video by Parker Sario of Powers' goal on Facebook. The site noted there was a second high school soccer goal from New Jersey, by a West Orange player, highlighted in the same top 10 with Powers' goal.
