Powers scored twice and added three assists in the Garnet Gulls' 9-2 win, with video of the highlight widely shared on social media.
   

• Brick man accused of targeting work vehicles and stealing $15K in tools (shorenewsnetwork.com) — Police say a Brick Township man is linked to a series of work-vehicle burglaries, including multiple cases in Point Pleasant Borough, with about $15,000 in tools recovered. Point Pleasant Borough police have filed their own charges, though details on the number of local incidents and total value of recovered property there have not been released.
   

• 2026 Shore Conference Girls Soccer Week 4 Top 10 (shoresportsinsider.com) — Point Boro girls soccer has climbed to No. 4 in the Shore Conference rankings and faces a busy week, including rivalry matches with Point Beach and top-ranked Toms River South.
