• Unbeaten No. 5 Donovan Catholic downs Point Boro to earn share of division title (nj.com subscription) — High school football fans in Point Pleasant saw Donovan Catholic stay unbeaten with a 24-7 win over Point Pleasant Boro on Friday, securing at least a share of the Shore Class A South title. Despite a big 65-yard touchdown connection from Dylan Comstock to Jake Clayton to briefly tie the game, Boro fell to 3-4 after Donovan Catholic pulled away in the third quarter.
