Angelo A. Bufis Of Point Pleasant Dies At 86
Services for Korean War veteran to be held on Thursday and Friday.

Angelo A. Bufis, 86, of Point Pleasant, passed away Monday, April 13, 2015. The last surviving of ten children born to the late Vincent and Frances Bufis in Hoboken, he was raised there and has lived in Point Pleasant since 1963. He was a veteran of the Korean War and served in the United States Army.
Mr. Bufis was the former owner and operator of Evans Decorators, Point Pleasant Beach, and continued to work as a skilled upholsterer for many years. He was a member and past president of the Point Pleasant Lions Club and was an active communicant of Saint Peter Church in Point Pleasant Beach.
Surviving are his beloved wife of nearly 65 years, Eva M. (Bujacich) Bufis; and two daughters, Mary Bufis and her fiancée Larry Samler and Annette Kinsley and her husband David, all of Point Pleasant. Also surviving are his grandchildren, David, Jessica, John, Samantha, Sarah, Jake, Saige, and Rikki; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 16 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 10 a.m. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday at Saint Peter Church, Point Pleasant Beach, followed by entombment at Saint Anne Cemetery, Wall.
