Ann T. Bennis Of Point Pleasant Beach Dies At 88
Services will be held on Sunday and Monday.

Ann T. Bennis, 88 of Point Pleasant Beach passed away on June 16, 2015 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick.
She was born and raised in New York City, lived in Port Reading, NJ, and West Palm Beach, Florida before moving to Pt. Pleasant Beach 10 years ago.

Anna was a parishioner at St. Peter’s Church, Pt Pleasant Beach. She was a Eucharistic Minister, Rosarian, CCD Instructor, and a volunteer for Catholic Charities / Defending Life. Anna dedicated her life to church, family, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles Bennis and her grandson John Bennis. Surviving are her children Anne Klyng and her husband Robert, Kathleen Bennis-McGuinness, Joan Herc and her husband Richard, Charles Bennis and his wife Alys, and John Bennis. Anna is also survived by her grandchildren Matthew, Devon, Alexandra, Patrick, Lauren, Jonathon, Victoria, Michael, Andrew and Dani and her great-grandchildren Cosmo and Charles.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday at Colonial Funeral Home, 2170 Hwy 88, Brick, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 22, at St. Peter’s Church, Pt. Pleasant Beach. Interment will follow at St. Anne’s Cemetery, Wall.
