POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — Two of the best things about the holiday season are seeing others' decorations and eating wonderful food.

In Point Pleasant Beach, you can get both wrapped into one event — and you can support a good cause while indulging in some holiday joy, at the Holiday Cooks Tour, organized by the G. Harold Antrim Elementary School Parent-Teacher Organization.

The tour has been held annually for 20 years, visiting the homes of Point Pleasant Beach residents who volunteer to show off their holiday style.

The homeowners who participate in the tour allow PTO volunteers to come in and help decorate the homes, bring in catering from the participating restaurants and allow hundreds of people through their doors on the night of the tour.

The Holiday Cooks Tour is one of the largest fundraisers the PTO does each year and pays for a variety of programs and items that help make the school year special for the children as well as the staff.
