Southern Monmouth Town Told To 'Lock Doors' Because Of Intruders
A Jersey Shore community was told to "lock doors" because of intruders with "extensive criminal backgrounds" appearing in town.
A Jersey Shore community was told to "local doors" because of intruders with "extensive criminal backgrounds" appearing in town.
The Sea Girt police told residents to secure and lock doors to vehicles and houses after these alleged intruders were discovered in a Thursday night traffic stop.
Police say they stopped a vehicle in the center of Sea Girt and encountered three people with extensive criminal backgrounds.

"There is a high probability these subjects were attempting to locate and steal unlocked high-end vehicles," police said.
Police say they hope to send a clear message for such people to "avoid our area in the future due to our officers vigilance (as well as) residents limiting opportunities by locking their vehicles."

"We again ask for your help by reporting anything unusual, making sure surveillance systems are charged and running and, most importantly, lock all doors," police said.
