Arnold Avenue Limited To Local Traffic In Point Pleasant
A portion of the road has been closed to through traffic, police said. Two other streets have partial closures as well.
POINT PLEASANT, NJ — Arnold Avenue has been shut down to through-traffic Tuesday morning, Point Pleasant police said.
Police issued an alert about 10:45 a.m. saying access is limited to local traffic only on Arnold Avenue from Front Street to Philadelphia Avenue. All other motorists must use an alternate route, police said.
In addition, Barton Avenue is open only to local traffic only between Route 88 and Austin Avenue, and Riviera Parkway is closed to through traffic between Blazer Drive and Susan Lane.

Utility work has been going on daily throughout the borough and detours usually end about 4:30 p.m.
