Back To School: Point Pleasant Beach 2023-24 School Calendar

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — The first day of school is Thursday for the Point Pleasant Beach Schools. As students begin the 2023-24 school year, here are dates when the district is set to be closed.

Some dates are subject to change, depending on the need for emergency closings.

Point Pleasant Beach Schools

First Day: Sept. 7

Columbus Day: Oct. 9

NJEA Convention: Nov. 9-10

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 23-24

Winter Break: Dec. 25-Jan. 1

Martin Luther King Jr. Day: Jan. 15, schools closed.

Presidents Weekend: Feb. 16-19, schools closed for students Friday, whole district closed Monday

Spring Break: March 29-April 7

Memorial Day: May 24-27

Last Day: June 19, tentative

There are three emergency closure days built into the calendar.
