Battle Of The Bands, Summer Concert Series Announced In Point Beach
The music events are scheduled throughout the summer in Point Pleasant Beach. Mark your calendar.
POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — Get ready for some music and fun this summer with the Battle of the Bands and the Summer Concert Series, announced by the Point Pleasant Beach Recreation Committee.
The events will be held at the Bandshell, at the corner of Arnold and Baltimore avenues.
The second annual Battle of the Bands is set for June 11. From 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. local bands will be reviewed by special guest judges, with a grand prize of $1,000 on the line.

"Last year absolutely rocked, so we are doubling the grand prize," the recreation committee said. They also are teaming up with 95.9 The Rat for the event.
The summer concert series kicks off two weeks later. The first show on June 27 is still working out the details of who will be performing.
