Bridge Avenue Road Closure Planned In Point Pleasant

POINT PLEASANT, NJ — Motorists traveling in Point Pleasant are warned to expect detours and avoid Bridge Avenue due to a road closure for an emergency sewer line repair, Point Pleasant police said.

Bridge Avenue will be closed to through-traffic from Sunset Avenue to Barton Avenue, police said, with both eastbound and westbound lanes shut down.

There will be detours in place, and the repair work is expected to last for several days, police said.

"Please follow the posted detours. If possible, please plan an alternate route or avoid the area," police said.
