Christmas In July, Kite Festival, Hot Halloween: Jenkinson's Events

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — If you're looking for fun events to spice up the weeks before the kids return to school, Jenkinson's Boardwalk has a number of offerings you're going to want to put on your calendar.

Christmas in July, the Kite Festival and Hot Halloween are all planned over the next six weeks, in addition to weekly events including Kiddie Beach Shows on Mondays, Movies on the Beach on Tuesdays and Princess Storytime on Fridays, along with Magical Mermaids at Jenkinson's Aquarium on Wednesdays and the Aquarium Beach Walks on Thursdays.

For those who can't wait for Santa's return, Christmas in July is set for July 26-27. There will be entertainment, photos with Santa and a Christmas show from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. both days. The aquarium will have Santa diving with the fish, and more.

The Kite Festival kicks off August, with games, music, prizes and, of course, kite flying. It's set for 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Aug. 1-2. Beach fees apply.

On Aug. 30-31, get your spooky thrills going with Hot Halloween. Events are set for 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Prep your costumes for the fun. Full details will be released later, Jenkinson's said.
