Christmas Tree Collection Announced In Point Pleasant Beach
Whether you are taking down your decorations now or later in January, there are options for discarding your natural tree.

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — Point Pleasant Beach residents who used natural Christmas trees for their holidays have a few options for discarding their trees.
The Point Pleasant Beach public works department will pick up discarded trees curbside throughout the borough. Officials said the collections will continue until all trees placed curbside are gone.
Be sure to remove all decorations. They will not take trees with the stands attached or in tree bags.

If you want to recycle your tree, the American Littoral Society is taking donations of Christmas trees at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 708 Route 88 in Point Pleasant. The littoral society is using trees in a project to protect the salt marsh at the Slade Dale Sanctuary in Point Pleasant.
Christmas trees also can be dropped off at Beaver Dam County Park, 3430 Bridge Ave., Point Pleasant, through Jan. 31. Trees dropped off at the county park will be recycled into wood chips and mulch that county residents can pick up at no charge in the spring.
