Cornhole Tournament On Beach Accepting Registrations In Point Beach
The Bags on the Beach cornhole tournament is organized by the Point Pleasant Beach Recreation Committee.
POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — The Point Pleasant Beach Recreation Committee is still accepting registrations for its second annual Bags on the Beach cornhole tournament.
The tournament is set for Aug. 28 on the beach at Jenkinson's North, 3 Broadway, next to Jenkinson's Inlet Bar.
Check-in begins at 11 a.m. and the tournament begins at noon, recreation officials said.

The tournament is double elimination and has prizes and a 50/50 raffle will be conducted.
The fee to register a resident team is $75 per team; at least one player on the team must own property or have yearly lease to be considered a resident. Proof of residency will be required.

The fee for nonresident teams is $100 per team.
The rain date is Sept. 11.
