Detours, Closures At Lovelandtown Bridge In Point Pleasant Boro

Expect overnight detours and closures in Point Pleasant Boro over the next month.

Overnight detours and closures will take place at the Lovelandtown Bridge on Bridge Avenue, police said.

The closures began Monday night. Detour hours will be 7 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, for approximately next 2 weeks.

Storm drainage work and curb and sidewalk installation is expected to take place from Route 88 to the Lovelandtown Bridge, according to Ocean County officials.

Lane and shoulder closures are expected to happen.
