Donald G. Frank Of Point Pleasant Dies At 74

Cremation for Army Vietnam-era veteran was private.

Donald G. Frank, 74, of Point Pleasant, passed away at his home Thursday, May 19, 2016 surrounded by his family and close friends.

Born in South Weymouth, MA to the late Arthur and Louise Frank, he lived in Point Pleasant for 50 years. Don worked as an electrician and retired from Nestle USA, Freehold. He was a United States Army, Vietnam-era veteran and was an avid New York Giants fan, fisherman, and animal lover.

Surviving are his beloved wife of 53 years, Eleanor (Bonafide) Frank, whom he always called "my bride"; and two sons, Donald M. Frank and his wife Lizabeth of Point Pleasant and Jeffrey J. Frank and his wife Tiffany of Johns Island, SC. Also surviving are his brothers-in-law, Chester "Chop" Bonafide, Jr. of Brick and Dominic "Butch" Bonafide of Manasquan; two brothers, William and Robert Frank; a sister Judy Stanic; and two grandchildren, Hayden and Brinley. He also had friends whom he considered his family: Ann and Pat Boyle and their daughters, Kim, Jackie, and Ashley and Kim's daughter, Payton Ann.
