Doris M. Hart Of Point Pleasant Beach Dies At 90

Doris M. (Meany) Hart, 90, Point Pleasant Beach, died on Saturday, June 27, 2015, at the Brandywine Gables Assisted Living Facility in Brick.

She was born in New Brunswick and was a resident of Point Pleasant Beach for over 80 years. She was employed at Camp Evans during World War II and worked for many years as a banker, last employed by Ocean County National Bank in Point Pleasant Beach.

She was an active volunteer for Deborah Hospital and enjoyed watching Fox News. She always had a close relationship with her parents and family and provided many years of companionship and quality care to her mother after her father passed.

She was a parishioner of St. Peter’s R.C. Church in Point Pleasant Beach. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 65 years, Irving Hart in 2013. She is survived by her loving brother and sisters, Richard A. Meany of Point Pleasant, Patricia M. Spaziano and her husband, Donald of Lakewood, Nancy M. Brown and her husband, Kenneth J. of Manasquan, and Eleanor M. Schlosser and her husband, Robert of Point Pleasant Beach. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and grandnieces and nephews.

Interment is private. Friends will be invited to a memorial Mass which will be held on Friday, Sept. 11, 2015 at St. Peter’s Church in Point Pleasant Beach.
