Check Out Howl-O-Ween Pet Parade, Harvest Fest In Point Pleasant Beach

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — The Howl-O-Ween Pet Parade and the Homegrown Arts Festival, which were scheduled for Oct. 23, were rescheduled for Sunday, Oct. 30.

If you thought you missed them — you didn't!

The Howl-O-Ween Pet Parade, hosted by the Point Pleasant Beach Recreation Committee, is set for a 1 p.m. start. It will be held on Bay Avenue. starting at 1 p.m., in conjunction with the Homegrown Arts Festival sponsored by the Point Pleasant Beach Chamber of Commerce and Point Beach Arts Committee.

Register your pets in one category or several —it's $10 per pet per category — and there will be a grand prize winner chosen in each of these categories: Funniest, best dog/owner combo, scariest, best overall/most creative. The winners will receive a gift basket from Opal & Olive.

Register in advance here, or register on-site the day of the parade. The Howl-O-Ween Pet Parade will be collecting donations for Castle of Dreams Animal Rescue. If you are able to bring a bag of pet food, a blanket or toy to donate it would be greatly appreciated.

There also will be a pie-eating contest for our furry friends who show up but do not have a costume, and all registrations will be happening the day of and will be limited to the first 15 pets who arrive. The fee also will be $10.
